When a group of Massachusetts teenagers expressed their distaste for the dog killing in Call of Duty: World at War, most people simply brushed them off as loons. However, they merely shined a light on a trend that has gone unchallenged in video games — animal abuse.

Konami is looking for able bodies, EA announces that Godfather II is gold, and GamePro announces that it’s become a game publisher — thereby rendering any review the magazine ever publishes to be, um… “less than reliable”.

No game is perfect, but even the best of games can have that single flaw that keeps them from being extraordinary.
