Back when Star Trek ruled the world, a couple of games based on The Next Generation were released for the SNES and Genesis. The SNES one sucked ass and was next to impossible to beat. The Genesis one was the same game, minus the suck.

Star Trek Starfleet Command III was, like Elite Force II, killed before it ever had a chance. Thankfully, the game still lives and continues to be supported by one of the most dedicated communities on the internet.

There are many Star Trek games that are remembered for being absolute garbage. However, once in a blue moon a Trek game came along that was actually quite good. Most of these were from Activision and to start off our celebration of all things Trek, here’s our look back at Star Trek: Elite Force II. Truly one of the greatest games you’ve never played.
