Binge Gamer Dot Net, founded on March 1st, 2008, is far from your typical gaming website. Understanding that there are gobs (“gobs” is a proper term, right?) of other video game blogs online that “break” the same four news stories and rehash press releases, we at Binge Gamer aim to provide you, the reader, with unrestrained, unabashed, unbiased and (most importantly in e-Land) uncensored commentary on the big news stories of the day, as well as highlight some of the hilariously offbeat news items that flair up from time to time.

Let’s make one thing perfectly clear: WE ARE NOT JOURNALISTS! At best, we’re reporters of the news but we are by no means “journalists.” Neither is the majority of the game industry “journalist” pool, but that’s neither here or there. We are commentators, taking the big naming news items of the day and giving our own spin on them. In that respect, more than anything, we are an opinion website that happens to occasionally report on the news. That’s about the extent of our JOURNALISM credentials.

In addition to our news commentary, we are committed to polluting providing the internet with informative, thoughtful and entertaining original content that can range from open letters and in-depth analysis of the biggest trends and fads in gaming, to industry interviews and super uber kick-ass coverage of gaming events.

Binge Gamer continues to grow each and every day thanks to the dedication and hard work of the staff as well as our loyal readership, which has steadily grown since our launch. Going forward, we will intend to keep on growing and providing all of you with the same off-color, off-beat and just play “off” gaming coverage that you’ve come to expect from us.
