Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe is Official

I’m not one to jump the gun, but at this point there really is no more denying it: Scorpion is going to get the chance to kill Superman. That’s right, boys and girls; Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe is, after years of rumors, finally official.

While no information is known about the title (and won’t be until late today), it is rumored that MK vs. DC only came to be after Midway agreed to a few demands from DC Comics, namely: No Fatalities and No Blood. So, while the idea of Wonder Woman and Sonya Blade battling to the death is awesome (and kind of hot), not having it be an over-the-top gore fest with decapitations and impalements kind of takes that magic spark out of the Mortal Kombat name. If true, then I am very disappointed.
