GTA IV DLC, Chinatown Wars Delayed

Considering it’s almost December, I think it’s safe to say that the Grand Theft Auto IV downloadable content that Xbox 360 owners have been psyched over for months has been delayed. To drive this point home further, Take-Two CEO and 1997 Mr. Olympia finalist* Strauss Zelnick told MTV Multiplayer that, yeah, it’s probably going to be delayed a little longer.
It’s close to being complete. That said, it may move into the second quarter. Downloadable content is a big undertaking. It is important to be really special.
If that isn’t enough bad news for you wannabe street thugs, it also turns out that Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars, the DS game, may be delayed as well. Zelnick made sure to mention that Chinatown Wars may not make it’s Q1 2009 target release date, meaing that the game will more than likely be pushed back to February, 2009 at the very earliest.
Those of you who have been following the Grand Theft Auto franchise for a while are only too aware of Rockstar and their penchant for delaying games over, and over, and over again. However, considering how awesome most of their games tend to be, who can fault ‘em? The method works!
