Blizzard Denies Diablo 3 Rumors. Again.

It has been years… and years… and years since rumors first began about Blizzard working on Diablo 3. Sure, while rumors were originally started by overzealous fans hoping that they would receive a sequel to a game that still has several thousand users playing it online every day, they have since evolved to full blown tall tales.

Seriously. You can’t go one year without hearing a “Diablo 3 at E3″ rumor.

Either way, Blizzard has since smacked down any rumors of a possible Diablo 3. Again. This time they are saying that they are currently focused on the development of StarCraft II and World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King.

However, with their recent acquisition of the diablo3.com domain from what is now diablofans.com, I’m seriously thinking Blizzard is bullshitting this time. But, I guess we’ll just have to wait and see.
