Resident Evil Remake Rumors are Buried
Yesterday, Resident Evil fans everywhere began to stir when a number of gaming sites reported rumors that Resident Evil 4 was being remade for the PS3 and 360. Now, I’m as big of an RE fan as any; it was an awesome game. However, I am glad to here that these rumors were just that - rumors.
Capcom VP Christian Svensson dispelled the rumors late last night on Capcom’s forums, saying, “No plans for RE4 on 360 or PS3 at this time.”
Bummer? Nah. I agree with Keith Orland over at Joystiq. Why bring it back when they could be focusing their resources on a fifth installment to the series.
