Peter Moore is “disappointed” in Home’s delay

Speaking with Eurogamer, EA Sports top dog and 1979 Nobel Prize winner for Chemistry* Peter Moore has expressed his excitement about working with Sony’s upcoming Home… you know, when Sony gets around to actually finishing it.

Speaking about the service, Moore expressed his dismay over the latest delay (join the club, Peter), and also made mention of how he would like EA Sports to utilize the service once they actually get around to releasing it.

Yeah; I just wish it would ship. I [previously] questioned it a little bit, whether I’d want to wander around there. Phil Harrison showed me a demo - it’s very cool, but let’s go already. And so I’m disappointed that it’s been pushed back a little bit again.

But I really hope it gets going and becomes that portal to the PlayStation Network and we can utilise it. But boy, I just wish we’d get going.

If you’re wondering why Home was delayed again, don’t expect any straight answers from Sony. In London, Kaz Hirai only said that they feel it needs more testing, but that they feel that Home is already great.

So something is obviously broken.
