Blizzard on WoW: We’ll “probably” need a graphical overhaul

Speaking with Eurogamer, Blizzard’s J. Allen Brack (a man with an oil tycoon’s name) made a comment that is sure to have WoW fans giggling in glee… or shaking in terror, if their PC is old. When asked about the possibility of World of Warcraft undergoing some kind of graphical overhaul, Brack said “Yep, propably.”

No, seriously:

Will we need a graphical update from the ground up at some point? Yep, probably…

That’s actually something we talk about every expansion. I’m positive we’ll talk about it next expansion.

Could Blizzard actually make World of Warcraft pretty? Some argue that it already is, and I guess it’s not bad… for a MMO… but I know for a fact that there are players out there who are turned off of WoW because of how it looks. These people will probably be playing Age of Conan, fighting battles and ravishing slave women.
