If you have ever thought the Wii worthless, you have never apparently been in need of cigarettes and booze. According to the Hernando County Sheriff’s Office, 23-year-old Christopher Bayko was arrested on charges of petty theft and dealing in stolen property after swiping his mother’s Nintendo Wii and pawning it for $56.
The mother first became suspicious when she noticed her Wii was missing. Naturally, she asked her son who assured her that the Wii was at the home of one of his friends. The story would appear to be water-tight, except for one glaring flaw.
The nitwit forgot to throw out the receipt for the pawn.
His mother found said receipt and, being a good fangirl, informed the police that his son had stolen and pawned the system. When police asked about why he would pawn his own mother’s Wii console, Bayko informed the deputies that he had done so in order to purchase alcohol, tobacco and food.
It’s the first use the Wii had seen in six months*.

This is a very entertaining story. $56 is all he got for the wii. I hope he did not pawn the games for that amount. He should have gone to games stop than just a normal pawn shop. And 56 dollars, hope he at least got a bottle of Captain Morgan.
