Crackdown started off as the little game that could. Dismissed by many Halo fanboys as “the game that came with the Halo 3 beta”, who would have thought that Crackdown would wind up being better than Halo 3?
…yeah, I said it.
Crackdown 2 is currently under development at Ruffian Games. If you are unaware, Ruffian Games was founded by members of Realtime Worlds, and much of the team that worked on the original Crackdown is hard at work on Crackdown 2.
While we still don’t have a definitive release date for Crackdown 2 just yet, we now have a new trailer that continues the trend Fallout 3 started of playing eerily calming music while shit blows up all around.
I very much look forward to Crackdown 2.
