2K Sports has promised the cash prize to the first fan who accomplishes this task on either the Xbox 360 or the PS3. Players must a submit a DVD of their performance, making sure that it follows all of the rules and requirements. Enhanced Online News has already listed the basic regulations, and 2K’s official site promises to post more information soon.

2K’s vice president of marketing Jason Argent said that the purpose of this contest, announced yesterday, was to showcase the game’s “superior pitching and hitting mechanics” and also to provide one fan with a “thrilling opportunity”.

MLB 2K10 is scheduled for release March 2, 2010. The contest begins that same day and ends on May 1, 2010.
