Short list this week – but tons of giveaways coming up!

Here are some gaming/tech/geek contests going on this week. I’ve tried to weed out any “contests” that are really scams to get you to sign up for programs that charge your credit card, stuff like that. Check back every Sunday at midnight for more contests and giveaways!

Ending today:

• World Championship Games for the DS at An Island Review – All you have to do is leave a comment to win, so its pretty easy to enter.
• $25 to Amazon at Staying Fit Online – There are tons of used games available for that price, and all you have to do is write a comment about weight loss.

Ending Wednesday 3/25:

• World Championship Games for the DS at A Wrestling Addicted Mommy – Yes, someone else giving away a copy of this game! Enter for a second change to win the game. And hey, if you win them both, you can always send your extra copy to me.
• Laptop Sleeve at Frugal Mommy – OK, its a girlie design, so maybe not for everyone…but I like it!

Ending Friday 3/27:

• $10 via PayPal at Debt Help – You can use that 10 bucks to buy The Path. Or whatever. Hey, $10 is $10.

Ending Saturday 3/28:

• $209 via PayPal at Babibubebo.com – Hey, $209 is what, three or four brand new games, depending on your system. Or you can buy me an Xbox 360. You know, whatever.
• Pop Chips at Sweeps4Bloggers – “Natural” snacks aren’t always the best, but these can be pretty tasty if you like that kind of thing. You need something to eat while you game, right?

Ending next week and beyond:

• Custom Gaming PC and other prizes at GameRigs – This is more of a sweepstakes type of contest, but the prize is pretty awesome…a complete PC gaming set-up, including a gaming keyboard, gaming mouse, and tons of Sacred 2: Fallen Angel swag. Ends 3/29/09.
• $100 for Canadians at FastFriends – Want some money, eh? How a-boat $100? If you sign up at this new Canadian social networking site, you can join the race to have the most friends by 3/31/09. Winner gets $100 to spend at any Canadia store on their list, which includes some places you can purchase games and other cool shit.
• 5 Green iPod Shuffles at The Freebie Guy – He’s giving away five of them. To win any of them, you have to be signed up for his newsletter, so you’ll get a little bit of inbox filler, but he promises not to send you spam. Watch the video to find out how to win. Ends 3/31/09.
• $5 to DQ at Human Chrstian – Ok, its a small prize, but who doesn’t love DQ to go along with some video games? Ends 3/31/09.
• DS Games at Droolicious – They’re giving away two DS games – Boing! Docomodake and Blue Dragon Plus (which Perry reviewed here). Ends 3/31/09.
• $500 Visa Gift Card at Curvethemes.com – Dude, that’s a lot of video games. You can even by a PS3 with that kind of cash. You have to register at their site to win, but it doesn’t cost anything. Ends 4/2/09.
• Zenses for the DS at My Charmed Life – It’s a cute casual game, not something that’s going to change your life – but def worth playing if you get it for free! Ends 4/3/09.
• PlayStation 3 or Graphics Card at GameZ ReviewZ – Awesome launch giveaway. You really can’t find a cooler prize on a cooler site. Ends 4/4/09.
• 2 Vidtel Video Phones and 6 months of service at Cool Mom Guide – Its a cool prize, especially if you have a long-distance relationship or like to, you know, talk to your mom…Ends 4/8/09.
• NHL 2K9 for the PS3 at 4TheGeekNU.com - All you have to do is leave a comment with your favorite NHL team, but you also must be a member of their forums. Ends 4/10/09.
• T-Shirts and Mountain Dew at Teenormous - They’re giving away 110 t-shirts, 10 of which come complete with Mountain Dew. They’re also giving away a $50 gift certificate. Sweet. Ends 4/16/09.
• $100 from Amazon at Robyn’s Online World – $100? Yes please. Ends 4/30/09.
• Flip Mino HD Camcorder, iPod Nano, and iPod Shuffle at Sendme Mobile – Awesome prizes! All you have to do is tell them an “awkward ringtone” story – you know, like “Margaritaville” going off at an AA meeting. Ends 5/1/09.
