Here are some gaming/tech/geek contests going on this week. I’ve tried to weed out any “contests” that are really scams to get you to sign up for programs that charge your credit card, stuff like that. Check back every Sunday at midnight for more contests and giveaways!

Ending today:

• $100 Gift Certificate to iTunes at Metrowize – You have to sign up for their newsletter so that you’re a “member,” and the drawing is taking place at 2 PM today, so hurry if you want to sign up.
• American Express Gift Card at AndroidTapp.com – This is another contest where you have to register at the site, but they’re giving away a ton of gift cards over the next month or so, so it might be worth the sign-up time, since you’ll be entered to win more than one. The first ends tonight just because midnight CST.
• Galaxy Online Alpha Key at MMO Gamer – This one doesn’t really end today – it ends when they’re out of keys. They have 100 alpha keys to Galaxy Online to give away, first come, first served.
• iBee Farting App at CrackBerry.com – Ok…this one has just been put on hold because everyone was trying to snap a free farting app at the same time. Yes, you read that correctly. Free Farting Ap. They’re coming back with even more free codes, though, so check this link over the next few days and grab your free gas-passing app as soon as it is available again.
• iPhone Pogo Sketch at Book Room Review – This is a pretty nifty tool to use with your iPhone or Mac. All you have to do is leave a comment on their site to enter.

Ending Tuesday 3/3:

• $50 Gift Certifcate to Photofiddle at Barefoot Mommy – This is probably a blog you don’t read, but you don’t have to sign up to win anything, just leave a comment according to her directions. It’s a good prize if your a photoshop junkie like some people I know.

Ending Thursday 3/5:

• FIFA Soccer 09 at Platform Nation – Sports games aren’t my thing, but this one looks pretty fun. Platform Nation is giving away tons of copies over the next few weeks.

Ending Friday 3/6:

• Sub Urban Riot Tee at Splendicity – Ok, this one is for girl gamers out there. It’s a tee. With a grizzly bear. Dancing with a naked lady. Weird, yet somehow completely awesome. I usually won’t post clothing here, but you should check this one out.

Ending Saturday 3/7:

• 10-month Subscription to Slacker Radio Plus at Blackberry News – Slacker is a music service that connects through your Blackberry. The standard service is free, but Radio Plus allows you to listen commercial-free and skip through songs you don’t like. This one closes at 3 PM EST.
• Blackberry Bold TiVo Remote at TiVo Blog – You have to have a Blackberry Bold to enter to win this WonderfulRemote. No end date was specified – they just said they’d pick random commenters to win over the next few days.

Ending next week and beyond:

• The Shadow Queen at Fantasy & Sci-Fi Lovin’ Blog – This is one for all you geeks who like reading SciFi books out there. All you have to do is leave a comment on the site to win. Ends 3/10/09.
• Fudge at The Mommy Files – Because every gamer needs a source of sugar while on a gaming bender. Leave a comment with your favorite fudge flavor on their site, and you’re entered to win. Ends 3/10/09.
• Windows Vista Ultimate (Product) Red at 5 Minutes for Giveaways – I’m probably going to hell for promoting Vista in any way. Ends 3/13/09.
• Cell Phones at TestFreaks – These are some pretty sweet phones they’re giving away. They have four different phones up for grabs, for a variety of carriers. To win you have to either write a little essay for them or make a video. They also have additional contest prizes for bloggers. Ends 3/15/09.
• $209 via PayPal at Babibubebo.com – Hey, $209 is what, three or four brand new games, depending on your system. Or you can buy me an Xbox 360. You know, whatever. Ends 3/28/09 or when they reach at least 250 entries.
• Custom Gaming PC and other prizes at GameRigs – This is more of a sweepstakes type of contest, but the prize is pretty awesome…a complete PC gaming set-up, including a gaming keyboard, gaming mouse, and tons of Sacred 2: Fallen Angel swag. Ends 3/29/09.
• $500 Visa Gift Card at Curvethemes.com – Dude, that’s a lot of video games. You can even by a PS3 with that kind of cash. You have to register at their site to win, but it doesn’t cost anything. Ends 4/2/09.
