Here are some gaming/tech/geek contests going on this week. I’ve tried to weed out any “contests” that are really scams to get you to sign up for programs that charge your credit card, stuff like that. Check back every Sunday for more contests and giveaways!

Ending Monday 4/27:

• World Championship Games for the DS at Seeryus Mama – A few weeks ago, tons of sites were giving this away. If you didn’t win it yet, here’s one last chance.

Ending Tuesday 4/28:

• O Yikes! Bag at Sandier Pastures – They actually have pretty cool bags for travel, definitely great if you’re a college student or like to take your laptop with you on trips. You get to choose ANY bag in ANY color/design, so you can find something that suits your tastes.

Ending Wednesday 4/29:

• Ticket to see Disney’s Earth at Frugal Plus – Your chances of winning this one look REALLY good. That is, if I don’t win it first. Mwahaha. Disney does solid work, so I actually want to see this movie, but not enough to buy a ticket. So I need to win it.

Ending Thursday 4/30:

• $100 from Amazon at Robyn’s Online World – $100? Yes please.
• Mobile Ultra 8GB M2 Card with USB Reader at Gadgetlite – Don’t have a compatable cell phone? The reader that comes with it turns it into a USB drive.
  
• $50 to Amazon at Freebies and Much More – You don’t have to do anything to enter but submit your name/email – so it’s SUPER simple. Winner will be chosen “the first week of May.”
• Star Wars Laptop at The Funky Monkey – Ok, the disclaimer: this isn’t an actual laptop. It’s more like a handheld game for kids that uses a qwerty keyboard. But it’s still cool.

Ending Friday 5/1:

• Sleep Number Bed at Blissful Home – This may not have to do with video games, but it was way too good of a prize to not mention. A $1300 sleep number bed? Yes please.

Ending Sunday 5/2:

• Nancy Drew Video Game at Movie Room Reviews – It’s for the Wii by the good people of Sega. Ends 5/2/09.

Ending next week and beyond:

• One Week Stay in Orlando at Jolly Mom – It’s a great prize…doesn’t include travel or food, but your hotel room at a beautiful resort (it’s actually a suite) is paid in full. Plus, you can visit Mike while you’re in town. Sweet. Ends 5/4/09.
  
• Robot Dog Shaped
  Web Cam and Universal TV Remote at BloggerStop.net – There are tons of ways to get entries to win. And really, who doesn’t want a robot dog? Ends 5/8/09.
• Cell Phone and One Year of Service at GoVios Mobile – That’s a pretty sweet giveaway. A year of cell phone service, to me, is worth over $600, PLUS the free phone. Ends 5/17/09.
  
• $250 Visa Giftcard at Divine Caroline -You have to register to leave a comment, and you have to comment to win. It’s a pain in the ass, I know, but $250 makes it worth it. Ends 5/31/09.
