Here are some gaming/tech/geek contests going on this week. I’ve tried to weed out any “contests” that are really scams to get you to sign up for programs that charge your credit card, stuff like that. Check back every Sunday for more contests and giveaways! Usually these contests are posted by 5PM on Sunday, but yesterday was Easter, so I took the day off. Sue me.

Ending Wednesday 4/15:

• $15 Best Buy Giftcard at WoW Relief – You actually have to work a little for this one, but yay free money!
• Urban Legends Season One DVD at Val’s Views – In case you need more tales for around the campfire this summer…

Ending Thursday 4/16:

• T-Shirts and Mountain Dew at Teenormous - They’re giving away 110 t-shirts, 10 of which come complete with Mountain Dew. They’re also giving away a $50 gift certificate. Sweet.

Ending Friday 4/17:

• Camera and Camcorder at Diggnation (pfd) – If you upload their favorite picture or video, you could be going home with a pretty sweet prize.
• Twilight on DVD at Welcome to the Motherhood – I won’t tell anyone if you enter. It’s for a…gift….for your 12-year-old…neighbor…right? Right!

Ending Saturday 4/18:

• MP3 Player and iTunes Giftcard at Bob’s Occasional Musings – Nice prize, easy to enter, what more could you want?
• $25 to Outback at An Island Life - Mmmm shrimp on the barbie. Who doesn’t love Outback?

Ending next week and beyond:

• A Friend Fur All Seasons for the Wii at Full Nest Reviews – Ok, I probably won’t be picking this up, but if you have kids, you should enter. Ends 4/20/09.
• $25 to Outback at Geek’s Dream Girl – Lots of people are giving away Outback giftcards lately. But, as Geek’s Dream Girl herself says, “You’d be a hero at D&D night if you showed up with multiple Bloomin’ Onions!”
• Monsters vs. Aliens on Your Choice of Platform at Momma’s Review – Actually, I’ve heard this game is fun for parents AND kids, kinda like the movie. Ends 4/20/09.
• T-Shirts at Grab Bag Reviews – Who doesn’t need another funny t-shirt? Ends 4/21/09.
• $50 to Amazon at Salad for Breakfast – Money is always good, and on Amazon, $50 is enough to buy a great game. Ends 4/22/09.
• 4-pack of Batteries and Charger at A Busy Mom in Iowa – For those of you out there that still use batteries for your controllers/handhelds.
• $100 from Amazon at Robyn’s Online World – $100? Yes please. Ends 4/30/09.
• Mobile Ultra 8GB M2 Card with USB Reader at Gadgetlite – Don’t have a compatable cell phone? The reader that comes with it turns it into a USB drive. End 4/30/09.
  
• $50 to Amazon at Freebies and Much More – You don’t have to do anything to enter but submit your name/email – so it’s SUPER simple. Winner will be chosen “the first week of May.”
