Here are some gaming/tech/geek contests going on this week. I’ve tried to weed out any “contests” that are really scams to get you to sign up for programs that charge your credit card, stuff like that. Check back every Sunday for more contests and giveaways!

Ending Monday 7/27:

• Fight Night Round 4 at Maxium – There are probably a ton of entries, but it can’t hurt to try.
• Norman Phartephant at LI Kids – Ok, normally, I wouldn’t list a stuffed animal here…but really, who among us wouldn’t secretly love to have a Plush Farting Elephant.

Ending Tuesday 7/28:

• Michael Jackson: The Magic,The Madness,The Whole Story at True Crime Book Reviews – For those of you who love the King of Pop, this site is giving away 5 copies of this book.
• Free Package of Game Fuel at Mom Knows it All – You can never have enough caffeine.

Ending Thursday 7/30:

• Ice Age Video Game for Wii, DS, and Xbox 360 at Our Ordinary Life – All you have to do is comment to win.
• Music Ace Deluxe at The Dirty Shirt – It’s a pretty cool music creation program for your PC.
• Ultimate I SPY Wii Game and I SPY Prize Pack at MomReview – The prize pack includes the video game, as well as I SPY board games and books.

Ending Friday 7/31:

• Xbox 360 and One Year of Live at The Celebrity Cafe – This is more of a sweepstakes than a contest or anything, but I thought I’d mention it since the prize is awesome. Ends 7/31/09.
• Trip to Comic-Con 2010 from Sony – Again, another sweeps, but come on…the prize is worth trying! Ends 7/31/09.
• $50 Amazon Gift Card at Freebies and Much More – Tons of entries, but $50 to Amazon could pay for a few used games for ya. Ends 7/31/09.

Ending Sunday 8/2:

• Heated Mouse at Warm Mouse – Weird product…but useful, especially during the winter.

• $20 Amazon Gift Card at My Mom’s View – Canadians only! Ends 8/7/09.
• $25 Amazon Gift Card at Jolly Mom – This one is US-friendly. Ends 8/10/09.
• $100 Wal-Mart Gift Card at Coupon Dad – $100 can buy at least one game, maybe two if you go for Wii titles. Ends 8/15/09.
• Nextar I4-BC GPS at The Mom Buzz – It looks like a pretty decent GPS. Ends 8/15/09.
• Heated Keyboard Pad at Warm Mouse – This heated pad will keep your fingers toasty as you game during those long winter nights. Ends 8/19/09.
• DJ Hero at Metrowize – You can choose your favorite console, but you have to register at the site to win. Ends 9/1/09.
