Here are some gaming/tech/geek contests going on this week. I’ve tried to weed out any “contests†that are really scams to get you to sign up for programs that charge your credit card, stuff like that. Check back every Sunday for more contests and giveaways!
Ending Monday 8/10:

Ending Tuesday 8/11:
- T-Shirt at Good Mourning Glory – The shirt you’ll win is from Crazy Dog T-shirts, one of my favorite places to find smart ass clothing.
Ending Wednesday 8/12:
- $25 Gift Card to Threadless at Fudge Graphics – They have some pretty cool shirts at Threadless, and there isn’t a ton of competition to win one of them.
- $10 Sonic Gift Card at The IE Mommy – $10 doesn’t seem like much, but trust me – at Sonic, that goes far. Go during happy hour for drinks, and that 10 bucks should last you at least four or five trips.
- Laptop Sleeve at The IE Mommy – You can to pick any style you want if you win.
Ending Friday 8/14:
- $25 Visa Gift Card at Angela’s Soliloguy – Just comment to win. I <3 free money.
- Sprint HTC Snap Smart Phone at Jolly Mom – All you have to do is comment to win, and it’s a pretty nice phone.
Ending Saturday 8/15:
- $100 Wal-Mart Gift Card at Coupon Dad – $100 can buy at least one game, maybe two if you go for Wii titles.
- Nextar I4-BC GPS at The Mom Buzz – It looks like a pretty decent GPS.
- Camera at Fairy Blog Mother – The one pictured on the website is pink, but you can choose another color if you win.
Ending next week and beyond:

- Autographed copies of “The Winds of Dune” at Fantasy & SciFi Lovin’ News & Reviews – Usually, I don’t promote book contests, but this is a great prize – an autographed copy of a Dune book and some other related prizes. Ends 8/20/09.
- Keurig Platinum Brewer at Piece of ME – It’s a $170 coffee maker. That’s gotta be a good cup of joe. Every gamer needs some caffeine. Ends 8/24/09.

- Roku Movie Viewer at Music. Movies. Mayhem. – This is a pretty cool machine. The Roku allows you to watch Netflix instant movies if you have a Netflix subscription or movies you purchase from Amazon. It’s easier than hooking up your computer to your TV. Ends 8/31/09.
- DJ Hero at Metrowize – You can choose your favorite console, but you have to register at the site to win. Ends 9/1/09.
- Sony, the Reader Pocket Edition at Southern Web Group – It’s like a Kindle, but through Sony. You have to have a Facebook page to win. Ends 9/2/09.
