Philadelphia’s Wizard World is one of the largest comic book conventions in all the land, save for the San Diego Comic Con. Philadelphia’s Video Game Expo (VGXPO) is the largest video game show on the East Coast (until PAX hits Boston). The two entities are now combining forces, pledging to share content between the two shows.

So how is this deal going to work? Basically Wizard World will see “tens of thousands of square feet” of video game and video game-related content, while VGXPO will get a much needed infusion of comic book content.

So when will East Coasters be able to see the fruits of this new marriage? Well, Wizard World Philly goes down from June 19-21 and VGXPO happens between October 9-11. Both events will be held at the Pennsylvania Convention Center and we can’t urge you guys enough to hit up both these shows.
