Regular readers to this website know that I loathe Kotaku with every fiber of my being. Without getting into a long diatribe, I’ll just say that the blog, which at one time was the go to source for game news, has become a laughably bad parody of itself.

With that said, even a broken clock is right twice a day.

Kotaku has gotten their grubby paws on what is said to be early test footage of Star Wars Battlefront 3, the last game ever worked on by now-defunct Free Radical Design.

The video quality is absolute shit and the audio may hurt your ears, but you can clearly see that the game had some serious size and scope to it. The sequence where the aircraft (what looks to be a Eta-2 Actis light interceptor… +3 nerdiness)lifts off from the surface and docks with another ship that’s in orbit is just amazing.

Seriously. Somebody needs to buy Free Radical, and finish this one.
