Prototype is one of those games that looks good, but has the potential to totally suck. Being able roam about an open city as a super villain-esque character who can mutate into anything he wants is no doubt one of the coolest concepts ever (next to an open-ended, free-roaming samurai game with a solid, Bushido Blade style combat system that’s actually good, of course).

I remember hearing about this game over the summer of ‘08, being wowed then. Here I am now, watching the newest trailer, and honestly I’m still impressed.

Destructoid mentions something about people who have played the game having negative experiences, but perhaps that’s been fixed. I mean, the game isn’t coming out until summer, right? There’s still time.
