Man vs. Madden: Week Twelve

Happy Thanksgiving, dudes and dolls! I hope you all have a great day gorging on turkey and stuffing, watching great* NFL football and drinking until you can’t feel! Speaking of Thanksgiving day NFL picks, let’s have a looksie at what Madden NFL 10 (and myself, naturally) has to say about this week’s Turkey Day games. BUT FIRST let’s see how last week went down.

MADDEN: 70-42
REMEMBER: MvM did not pick for Week One

Yeah, last week I was the man. But that was last week and this is week twelve. The official Game of the Week has to be New England at New Orleans, simply for the Tom Brady/Drew Brees duel and a chance for New England to keep New Orleans from doing what only the Patriots have done: go 16-0. But for the sake of Turkey Day, I have to give some love to the Packers/Lions game. Sure, I may be a bit of a homer for the Lions (sad, yes), but the Thanksgiving Day game has been a staple of Lions football for my entire life and, for many seasons, has been the single high-point for Lions fans each season. Sure, we may not win every Thanksgiving Day game, but we look forward to it each and every season.

Now, on to this week’s picks.

  1. Bill says:

It is time for the team to show what they are really made of. give the rock to Mendenhall and let him hammer it. The division race is not over yet. Everything should work out great if they just play steeler football.

  2. Dean says:

That win against the Giants was really needed. Knoshon played the way I knew he could. Orton did his job well. This was the defense we saw during the first 6 weeks. Time to start a new streak.
