Back in the 1980s there was no more badass of a company than Tradewest. They were the people responsible for such games as Ikari Warriors, Double Dragon, Super Baseball 2020, RC Pro-Am II and Battletoads. In the 1990s Tradewest was bought by Midway Games. In 2009, Midway Europe rebranded itself as Tradewest.

Co-founder of Tradewest, Leland P. Cook, Jr., has passed away at the age of 75 after a lengthy battle with an unspecified illness. Our condolences go out to his family, and should you at home get a little free time… pop in some Double Dragon.
