Okay dudes and dolls, let’s get serious for a moment.

Every day thousands of children across the world are stricken with life-threatening illnesses; infectious diseases, cancer… stubbed their toe on an old rusty safe in an abandoned mine… hell if I know. The point is that their childhoods come to a screeching halt and their day-to-day lives become about extended stays in the hospital and constant, exhausting medical treatment. Starlight Children’s Foundation has been devoted to improving the morale of these kinds by providing entertainment and education for younglings suffering from prolonged illness.

So, what is a website that wants to do something genuine and heartfelt do? Well, we’re joining up with pro gamer, reality show starlet and all around good guy (sorry, was channeling my inner Dudley Do-Right) and longtime supporter of Starlight, Ciji “StarSlay3r” Thornton (the one who’s not Blue Steel) to raise a bit of awareness and hopefully some dough for the Starlight Children’s Foundation. She’s been championing their cause for ages and, after learning of what they do we figured that we could use our platform to give a helping hand — but not without a wee bit of help, and that’s where you come in.

Starting today, we’re going to have a button on our sidebar where you can donate to Starlight Children’s Foundation. I’m asking you fine people to lend a helping hand to the sick children. Click the button on the sidebar (or click HERE if you’re reading this) and lend a helping hand to some kinds who, frankly, deserve a little joy in their lives.
