Give Blood, Win a Wii?

bloody-wii

Having a hard time getting your Cheeto-stained fingers on a Wii? Well, your troubles may soon be a thing of the past and all it will cost you is a pint of blood.

Wait, what?

Blood Assurance, a “non-profit, full-service blood center”, is offering donors the chance to get something more than a simple sugar cookie for their troubles. Now through January 24th anybody who donates blood can enter into a drawing for the chance to win one of twelve Nintendo Wii consoles along with a copy of Wii Fit.

Giving blood is one of the most noble things you can do as it always goes to help people. Even vampires who ambush a caravan and steal the blood you’ve donated are helped by it, as it allows them to go another day without viciously murdering some random school girl.

…most of you aren’t going to get off the couch, are you? Fine, fine. So long as you can go to bed at night knowing that somebody who shares your blood type died due to your sloth… scumbag…

This is a great idea. Wish I could participate but I’m not supposed to give blood, since I’ve had hepatitis before. I don’t suppose I can enter anyway. Oh well, thought I’d ask.
