Last month, we showcased a ton of cool Mario ink. This month, I have to go with another cool Nintendo icon – Zelda. Check out these uber-awesome Legend of Zelda tattoos.

This tattoo has everything a good tattoo needs – Chinese symbols, tribal design, wings, and a pop culture reference (in this case, the triforce). Seriously, what more could you possibly want? The owner says: “My first tattoo. It contains the triforce from the zelda games, which symbolizes my childhood. Reminds me of great games and good times. “

I’m a huge fan of the colors in this one. Majora’s mask is easily recognizable as a Zelda tribute to games, but others probably won’t get the reference. And I kinda like that. In any case, it’s an awesome piece of artwork. [Tattoos by Ryan at Stained Skin Network]

I picked this one as one of the features because of the artist’s work. The colors and whole look of Link is dead on. It was done by Jason Goldberg at Olde City Tattoo in Philly. [okayjerks]

This is definitely one of the better triforces I’ve seen. I like how the artist made it flow with his existing tattoo too. [ez3k1al]

Come on. You gotta love CLASSIC Zelda! I think it’s cool when people get 8-bit tattoos. This one is also really big, and the colors are great.

Ok, ok. Here’s a naked girl for ya’ll. Seriously, though…cool tattoo. She drew it herself, too. I wonder if she ever got it colored in or just left it as a line drawing. [tr67]

Alright, it’s official. This guy wins. He has TONS of pictures posted at his website, so go check out this amazing Zelda tattoo that apparently cost him £1000.
I’ve made a good faith effort to contact all of the people above about posting their tat pictures here. If one of these pictures is you and you have a problem with it or want me to link back to a website you have, email me to let me know with “Tattoo” in the subject line.
Here are some more awesome Zelda tats from around the web. (Click on the thumbs to see them in a larger size from the original source.)
