You guys want to hear something downright retarded? Okay, here goes. You remember how over the Holidays Microsoft was offering an Xbox 360 bundled with Kung-Fu Panda and LEGO Indiana Jones?Yeah, well, one particular GameStop somehow came into possession of more copies of the bundled games than actual Xbox 360s. So what do they do?
They slap a $100 price tag on them, of course.
Now, according to GameStop’s website, LEGO Indiana Jones is $25 (used) and Kung-Fu Panda is another $25 (used). So, you can get both of these games (used) for about $50, and new for roughly $80.
But there is another issue with the $100 price tag. Specifically, it shouldn’t be on the game to begin with since the box for the games states, clear as day, “Not Packaged for Individual Resale”.
So, not only is GameStop screwing the retailer, but they’re also violating Microsoft’s “do not resale” policy. And you people dared to question my hatred for GameStop.
