First Fallout 3 DLC Arrives on January 27th

The first in three downloadable expansions to Fallout 3, “Operation: Anchorage”, will be available for purchase on January 27th for $10 (800 MSPoints).

“Operation: Anchorage” is said to add roughly five hours to the game experience and will let the player relive the American liberation of Anchorage, Alaska from Communist China. It’ll also make available some new armors and weapons.

“Operation: Anchorage” is the first of three planned monthly expansions. In February Bethesda plans to release “The Pitt”, which will give players a second city to explore: Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. In March the long-awaited level cap bump, also called “Broken Steel”, will be released.

It should be noted that this content will only be available for the PC and Xbox 360 versions of the game as Bethesda has signed another one of Microsoft’s agreements that do nothing more than undermine the consumer. Oh well.
