Chinese Government Forcing Online Users to Drop Screennames

great-wall-of-china

If you live in China… well, you aren’t reading this. But for the rest of you, people who surf the ‘net in China will no longer be able to hide behind their screennames, according to a report in People’s Daily Online.

According to the report, which is curiously short, the Chinese Government will begin forcing people to register online by their real names. No reason was given as to why the Government will be having their citizens ditching their screennames, but… it’s Communist China, so I think we can all figure it out.

You know, this will sound weird but… bless you, China. Without ass backwards nations like you, those of us who live in the good ol’ USA would forget how good we actually have it.
