There are very few things that I simply cannot stand. Kotaku is far and away my #1 hatred but if I had to pick a #2, it would probably be obnoxious SKUs. You know, when a company releases a dozen different versions of the same console?

Take the PSP, for instance. This thing has come out in about ten thousand different colors, ranging from bullshit bronze to… um… okay, I can’t think of something degrading about mint, but just look at it. Sure, the Kratos crimson was pretty nifty, but outside of that I can’t stand any of ‘em.

Since you probably already know where this is going, here it is: Sony is releasing two more colors in Asia: Radiant Red and Vibrant Blue.

Now thankfully these are only being released in Taiwan on January 17th, which gives me hope for the world. All the same — this is bullshit. It’s not like you see Nintendo doing anything outrageous like this, right?
