Last night’s news that EGM is no more has had time to sink in, and all I can say is… damn. Again, I was never a big fan of the publication, but it was still a staple of my childhood. Every month until I was about ten I’d get EGM and Game Informer in the mail. Now I get neither — though I need to renew my GI subscription.

Regardless, you can only hope for the best for everybody who lost their jobs yesterday, and hope that UGO does right by 1UP.
