In what I can only assume is… a practical joke, maybe(?), Funcom has revealed that they are still developing Age of Conan for the Xbox 360.
Speaking with Eurogamer, game director Craig Morrison* let slip that a “small [and] dedicated” team of developers are hard at work on the arduous task of bringing the MMO to the 360.
No other bits of info, such as when we can expect to see the game or… why they’re bothering… were announced.
Age of Conan recently saw half of it’s servers shut down and… it just hasn’t been pretty. Which is sad, because I kind of liked the game in the brief time I played it.

this seems to be some kind of pissed off lord of the rings fan. age of conan is actualy a great game and no, half of its servers didnt shut down they were just merged with the others. to make the game even better. you are a horde
yes i agree, i think they should have brought it out for the 360 earlier. but still it’s really worth a try, it can be successful, just don’t wait too long to release it, because somewhen people won’t care anymore. then you never know what it could ‘ve been like if you had released it in the right time. just ignore the few small problems and fix the big ones(you’re already working over 1 year on the port without having an idea when it might release, it seems your team working on the xbox version is too small).
it’s a great game and i’m looking forward to play it on the 360. i believe in this game can be great on the consoles if only they wake and really begin trying to bring to the console in the near future.
