Yesterday David Jaffe talked a bit about his impressions of God of War III. Odds are that you read Jaffe’s blog comments on Kotaku since they post just about everything, but if you haven’t then let me repeat what Jaffe had to say about his personal views of God of War III:

HOLY HOLY HOLY FUCKING HELL!!!!

Suffice to say, Mr. Jaffe is somewhat excited. However, his comments — as per usual, mind you — spawned a bit of controversy butt-hurt bitchiness from readers that ranged from comparing Jaffe to Benedict Arnold for daring to say that Gears of War II was pretty to bitching about how Jaffe USED ALL CAPS.

Thankfully, Jaffe took time out of his busy day sleep to respond to these dickweeds:

Sure enough, he did indeed make a post entirely in all caps.

You may be wondering why we’re posting this story. Well, you see yesterday we posted the story about Jaffe and his canceled appearance at VGXPO. While we here at BG considered Jaffe’s thoughtful explanation of the events that led up to his not appearing at the convention to be the news, foamy-mouthed fanboys jumped on this single line about God of War III, as did many self-serving video game blogs who wanted to generate a healthy bit of traffic by using trigger words like “God of War III”, “David Jaffe” and “Fucking”. So, as a playful jest towards David Jaffe (who we all love at BG) and a big “fuck you” to the PS3 fanbots, I have decided to treat this as actual news.

Lord knows it carries more merit.
