Yoda, Vader may become downloadable in Soulcalibur IV
Are you a PS3 owner who’s upset that they won’t be able to play as Yoda? …no, of course not. Dumb question. However, if you own a 360, you may feel cheated that you won’t be able to play as the Dark Lord of the Sith in your version of Soulcalibur IV. Well, if you’re sad that you won’t get to see Yoda and Vader lock sabers, you now have reason to hope. In a Game Informer preview, a Namco Bandai representative concedes that both characters may become downloadable on each other’s console:
After listening to our 10-minute rant about how disappointed we were about losing the chance to see Vader and Yoda go toe to toe, Namco was nice enough to concede that the second characters may be available for download on the respective consoles at a later date. That’s more like it!
While it has been rumored for some time, this is the first time that something has been hinted at by an official source. Let’s just hope they make it happen.
