Everyone was bummed when LittleBigPlanet was delayed for a week or so over a song. Well, supposed to be delayed. That’s right – some people aren’t complying.

I mentioned in the new releases post this week that some retailers might be starting sales anyway. Seems like that has been confirmed. According to the fine folks at ThatVideoGameBlog.com, Wal-Mart and competitor superstore Target are saying “fuck you” to the recall notice and have begun selling copies. I’ve also heard from a friend that Newegg.com isn’t complying with the recall, but at this point, I couldn’t confirm that.

So, the moral of the story is that you don’t have to pay the assholes on ebay $200 for an early copy of LBP. Check out your local Wally World…but do it soon. They might very well get yanked from the shelves when lawyers start getting involved.
