Valve: Portal: Still Alive NOT Coming to PS3

Valve’s refusal to release anything decent (The Orange Box was a big, buggy clusterfuck) on the PS3 truly knows no bounds, and this [not so] proud tradition continues as Valve has confirmed to CVG that Portal: Still Alive is not coming to the PlayStation 3.

What a big fucking shock that is.

“I’d call that today’s rumor,” a Valve spokesperson told CVG when quizzed on the subject. Today’s rumour, but tomorrow’s news, we said. “You’re smart to ask. But no,” Valve told us.

While slightly disappointing, it isn’t really a surprise. Gabe Newell and Valve have hated the PS3 since it’s launch, and have come up with just about every excuse in the book to continue to refuse to develop for the thing. But, oh well.

I was starting to get tired of that song, anyways.
