Remember Lips? The game that was demonstrated at E3 (poorly) By “Duffy”? Yeah, remember how we all gave that game a tremendous load of crap for, well, being a SingStar knock off?

Well, while I’m not quite ready to take back what I said about the game, I will say this:

It has one pretty awesome commercial. I especially love the song choice, though as far as greatest karaoke cover goes… sorry, gotta give it up to BG favorite Netcasty:

Lips will feature 40 songs, including A-Ha (duh?), Avril Lavigne, Beyonce, Destiny’s Child Coldplay, Depeche Mode, Johnny Cash, Nirvana and more. Lips will also allow you to sing along with the songs you have on your iPod Zune, and the game will come packaged with TWO motion-sensored microphones.

So when can we expect to see Lips on store shelves? …tomorrow. …huh. That was a bit anti-climatic. Either way, don’t let the abysmal trailer dissuade you — pick this one up.
