We love Capcom. They have been one of our biggest supporters since the site launched in March. So it is with a heavy heart that I have to ask… what the hell, man?

If you are unsure as to what I’m talking about, let me explain: Capcom has announced that they will be remaking the Nintendo GameCube remake of Resident Evil, this time releasing it on the Wii.

Here is what is known: The remake REmake will be released in Japan on Christmas Day, and will feature Wii-specific controls that will utilize the unique features of the Wii Remote.

Of course, you can also play the game with the GameCube controller, although if you were going to do that I would very much ask you to just click this link and save yourself some cash.
