The Orcish Horde Infiltrates Obama White House?

Ah, the FCC. It’s been a pain in the ass of just about everyone for the past four years eight years seventy-four years. However, now that President-Elect Barack Obama is in charge, we’re now going to be seeing some new blood at the FCC.

According to GigaOm, Obama has appointed Assistant Professor of Legal Studies and Business Ethics at Wharton Kevin Werbach (whose business card is about a yard long) and University of Michigan professor Susan Crawford co-chairs of his FCC transition team.

Why should you care? Well this is good news for people who believe in net neutrality, and could bode very well for online gamers. You see, Professor Werbach is an avid World of Warcraft player, claiming membership to two guilds within the game.

Unconfirmed rumors say that Crawford is a Guild Wars woman*.
