‘The Bender’ Episode 001

We’ve been talking about it for what seems like forever, but at last we’ve finally launched the podcast! The show stars Mike as the smart one, Allison as the cute one, and James as the retard. In our inaugural show we introduce ourselves to the world, discuss our gaming past and brush up on some of the happenings going on in the industry in the last week.

We talk about Metal Gear Solid 4, Tomonobu Itagaki’s departure from Tecmo, our MySpace Page (which we’ve had since March), and then we trail off for about fifteen minutes before saving the show by talking about the surprisingly controversial Nintendo DS commercials. After that we talk briefly about Guitar Hero: On Tour and its abysmal trailer, and James admits to not having any friends, not playing Rock Band, and reveals that he may know just a little too much about the Power Rangers during a conversation about Devil May Cry 4.

It’s our first episode, so it’s surely a little rough around the edges — but give it a little time, and we’ll rock your ass or your money back.
