Star Wars The Force Unleashed Exclusive Wii Feature

MyWiiNews has posted a pretty sizable update for Star Wars: The Force Unleashed information, including background information on when the game takes place (between Episode III and IV), some other story elements, and a nice bit of information on new technology used for the game (awesome physics engine). That is all well and good for you Star Wars nerds, but what grabbed me was the portion of the article dedicated to the Wii version of the game.

As we all know the graphics and horsepower behind the Wii cannot compare to the PS3 or 360 versions, but where the Wii lacks power, it makes up for with waggle. Lucasarts has made an exclusive multiplayer one on one lightsaber duel battle mode. 20 different characters to choose from with nine different playing fields. Sadly the lightsaber is not a perfected science with the Wiimote, as it won’t be exact movement, but rather you can move up, down, left, right, and forward. I am surprised that they would keep this multiplayer mode a Wii exclusive though, so keep an eye ’round these parts for updates on this as they become available.
