Soulcalibur IV. July 29th. Buy it!

July 29th. Mark that day on your calendar, fighting fans, as that is the day that Soulcalibur IV will be making its debut on both the PS3 and Xbox 360. The latest entry in the long-running fighting franchise will see a few changes: In addition to the name change, fans will be getting a significant graphical upgrade, new characters and a promise of more features and modes than SC3.

Oh, and Jedi. There are Jedi*.

Naturally there are two versions of Soulcalibur IV (like any other big release these days), with the Collector’s Edition coming with extra in-game customization options, a tournament kit (?) and a comic book printed especially for the game. The Collector’s Edition will retail for $79.99.

*I know Vader is a Sith. Don’t start.
