‘Soul Calibur’ Coming to Xbox LIVE Arcade

The Sega Dreamcast was the greatest console nobody owned (you bastards), and it’s greatest prize was the original Soul Calibur. Now, according to Namco Bandai, Xbox 360 owners will soon be getting that prize as Soul Calibur will be coming to the Xbox LIVE Arcade.

Now in addition to all of the awesome content that made the original Soul Calibur awesome beyond words, the XBLA version will also include online leaderboards and will be shown in HD.

But not all is good out of this announcement: There will be no online multiplayer, which in this day and age is simply unacceptable. However, fans of the franchise will surely find more than enough to keep them busy.

I don’t see how they plan on fitting Soul calibur in the 150mb XBLA limit. I don’t know how big the original was, but on the dreamcast it was on a 1.2 gig disc.

Also, no online is really dumb.

    Greatest news ever!

Except for the no online multiplayer… that really is unacceptable.

NutMan: I think they changed the limit or at least make exceptions, because I am pretty sure the Street Fighter HD Remix gaming coming to XBLA is over 200mb
