So you probably have already heard, but if not, here you go: Konami has confirmed that Metal Gear Solid is coming to the iPhone in the cleverly titled Metal Gear Solid Touch.
Set during the time of Metal Gear Solid 4, MGST is a completely original game that will introduce iPhone owners to the world and characters of the MGS franchise. Featuring eight stages, players will control Old Snake through the use of the touch screen (duh?).
But that’s not the only Konami game coming to the iPhone. Oh no. But to find out the rest (if you don’t know already), you’ll have to look after the break.
Dance Dance Revolution, Silent Hill and Frogger are also making the move with new, original titles.
Dance Dance Revolution S Lite plays much like an iPhone game that many of you already own, Tap Tap Revolution, with you tapping the arrows when prompted to. Ironically, no dancing is involved.
Silent Hill: The Escape is a first-person shooter that lets you move with the touch screen and aim with the altimeter.
Frogger… is Frogger.
The release dates for DDR, Silent Hill and Frogger are all listed by Konami as “From Late December, 2008″, while Metal Gear Solid Touch is set for a “Spring, 2009″ release.
