I’ve said it once and I’ll say it again: I’m fairly certain that EGM and 1UP pull most of their rumors out of their ass for the sake of driving a few extra hits or selling a few extra magazines. But, every once in a while they get one right and they almost always get our hopes up. That is the case with the newest issue of EGM.
According to Quartermann, LucsaArts has licensed out the Rogue Squadron license for a compilation of past entries in the series on the Nintendo Wii. The rumor is that LucasArts wants to bring over Rogue Squadron, Rogue Leader and Rebel Strike to the Nintendo Wii, with the three titles all packaged together nicely on a single disc.
Immediately, I find two things wrong with this:
1.) Where is Battle for Naboo? I swear, that game never gets any respect.
2.) You can get both Rogue Leader and Rebel Strike on the GameCube for a combined $25 used at Satan’s Boutique GameStop, and all three even cheaper on Amazon.
…who am I kidding? I’ll still buy it. I’m a tool for good Star Wars games, even of Lucas is treading the franchise dangerously close to Star Trek-esque overkill.
That’s my way of saying The Clone Wars fuckin’ sucked. Deal with it.

EGM RULES, BITCHES!
