The new issue of Official PlayStation Magazine has been able to do in one sentence what months of website rumors and erroneous reports have failed to do: Give Kingdom Hearts fans hope.

What did they say? Well, in their rumors section they had this to pass along:

Kingdom Hearts III is currently in development as a PS3 exclusive and will be announced at TGS.

…that’s pretty to the point, and if true (which, really, it’s probably true) then there will be tens of thousands of Cosplayers crying in their parents basements, careful not to cry too hard so they don’t solder their hand to their Squall Lionheart costume.

If you couldn’t tell, I don’t hold Kingdom Hearts fanboys in high regard.
