If you are one of those people who bought Bully: Scholarship Edition for the Xbox 360… boy, it sucks to be you. Apparently there have been rampant complaints regarding the Xbox 360 port of Bully, ranging from frequent freezing, skipping audio and, of course, lost game data.
Well, Rockstar has issued a statement on the issue, and the statement can be boiled down to two words: Our bad.
We have just become aware of the issues people are having with Bully Scholarship Edition on Xbox 360. It appears that some older 360s are experiencing framerate issues, freezes and other problems. You have our word that we never experienced any of this in QA – in any of our offices or at Microsoft. I am horrified, and we are now working around the clock to rectify this situation. Thanks to Neo-Gaf for bringing this matter to our attention. We love our games and put a huge amount of energy and care into making them all that they can be. We would never shove anything out the door – we never have and never will. We apologise to everyone affected for the inconvenience. Respectfully, Sam Houser

MY COPY OF BULLY JUST ARRIVED TODAY FROM AMAZON. SO FAR SO GOOD BUT HAVE HAD SOUND STUTTERING PROBLEMS ALREADY. HOW BAD DOES THIS “BUG” GET FOR US OLDER 360 OWNERS, ESPECIALLY WHEN I A NOT ON-LINE YET WITH MINE?

I’ve been playing the Wii version and just experienced an issue with lost game data. Now I can’t get my game back where I was in chapter II and any game save that I perform now doesn’t register when this game is restarted. Anyone have contact info for Rockstar Games?

The “Tagging” episode is impossible to complete; in fact, impossible to START – the first tag cannot be traced. You’re supposed to move the left stick in the pattern shown on the screen, while holding A. I’ve tried for a half hour now, and I move to the left, then as soon as I start moving down, it just stops, with no explanation of what I did wrong. I’m over 30% of the way through the darn game and now I’m going to have to stop playing it! Beware. Also, earlier it froze up on me after a few hours of unsaved playing – grr. (If it helps, I was in the carnival, it was a few minutes before 2 am, and I got on the ferris wheel; it loaded, then showed a scene with clouds moving overhead, and “nothing” below…)
