When we asked EA about this back when the Favre drama was just starting to heat up, we were told that “Madden NFL 09 will ship on August 12 with Brett Favre in a GB jersey, no matter what. If he is traded to another team, we look forward to exploring various ways to capture that.”

I just wanted to get that out there before every other gaming news site jumps on it as though it’s actually new news.
