‘Quantum of Solace’ Invades Guitar Hero (now with link)

Are you one of the many who will be going to the midnight launch event for the new Bond game Quantum of Solace? You better be, otherwise I will personally hunt you down and kick you in your testicles/ovaries. But I digress.

If you ARE one of the smart ones and are going to be at the midnight launch event for the game, you are in luck… maybe. If you’re in line at 10pm (local time, one assumes) on November 3rd, you may be one of the lucky ones that will be able to download an exclusive song for Guitar Hero World Tour. Specifically, the theme to the new Bond movie Quantum of Solace called “Another Way to Die”, performed by Jack White and Alicia Keys.

If you haven’t heard the song yet, here you go — and you’ve been warned.

I like Alicia Keys. I like The White Stripes. But this song is absolute crap. It doesn’t even hope to come close to Chris Cornell’s “You Know My Name” from Casino Royale.

Either way, if you’re going to be in line for the game on November 3rd, I have two things to say to say to you: 1.) Have fun. 2.) Don’t forget to vote, slackers.

I really dig like half this song. It starts up cool, and I don’t hate Alicia Keys.. but when the first chorus starts up, it seems so forced by both of them. Who in the hell picked these two to work together, fools.
