How about some complete non-news to start our Wednesday, eh? Ready? Cool! If you own a PlayStation 3, you may have noticed that the “PLAYSTATION” in PLAYSTATION STORE and PLAYSTATION Network is now spelled the much more conservative “PlayStation”. Longtime readers may remember that I went on a bit of a mini-rant about this a while back.
After all, why would you call your product anything in all capital letters? I wouldn’t ask you to visit BINGE GAMER all the time. It just comes off as loud and forceful, as if you’re trying to intimidate the person into taking your product.
But then again, it wasn’t that big a deal. The “PlayStation 3″ on my box is still spelled “PLAYSTATION 3″ with that silly Spider-Man font we shamelessly ripped off for our logo, and I didn’t even notice the name change when I downloaded the new update. PS3 Fanboy did.

This is the biggest non-news I think I have ever read.
Now, I must get back to work on my editorial on people who spell Xbox as “X-Box”
